My 9-year-old can finally keep up on the climbs thanks to how light this thing is. The 24-inch wheels and real mountain bike components handle roots and rocky trails way better than his old bike ever did.

The shifting is crisp and precise, and the overall weight makes it feel like a real mountain bike rather than a kid's toy. My son handles climbs and bumps with way more confidence now.

My daughter finally ditched her heavy big-box bike and the difference on climbs is honestly night and day — she's not walking the hills anymore. At 24-inch wheels it still fits her at nine but the components feel like a real mountain bike, not a toy. Worth every penny.
