The weight difference is unreal—my 7-year-old can pedal up the neighborhood hill now without me pushing. The 20-inch wheels roll over roots and rocks way better than her old bike ever did.

My 7-year-old went from struggling on climbs to actually asking for one more lap, and I credit how light this thing is. The 20-inch wheels still roll over roots and rocks without him getting bounced around. Real mountain bike parts on a kid's bike make a bigger difference than I expected.

My 8-year-old can finally lift his own bike onto the rack, which says everything about how light this thing is. The 20-inch wheels roll over roots way better than his old bike, and the components actually hold up on real trails instead of feeling like toy parts.
